He began his studies in piano at the Regional Conservatory of Ponta Delgada, however, in his adolescence, classical music was joined by pop music and electronics and, to the piano, he added the studies in bass and synthesizers. He played in several projects until he took over the keys, bass and compositions (alongside Rui Rofino) in We Sea, a Azorean dream-Ppop band with synth influences from the 80s.
