Lily Emilina Snider is an independent songwriter and artist, most often sharing music under the name Silly Lily. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she began writing songs, singing, and playing instruments as a kid, but began to take that passion seriously in recent years. Her musical influences started with the 70s folk-rock that she was raised on, and the sad sounds of 90s alternative. At the present, she resides in Ponta Delgada, São Miguel, Açores—the home of her mother 's family of origin. Her first two singles, Berries and It Could Be The Best Part (Roomba Song), were recorded and produced in Los Angeles, California, as was the cover/mashup of Sugar Mountain (Goddamn), an ode to Neil Young's childhood ballad. She is honored to often collaborate with her siblings, who were essential to her musical formation.
