Uk Based collective All Hands On Deck will run a two-day beginner DJ workshop addressed to women, trans and non-binary people. The workshop will be appropriate for complete beginners who have never used DJ equipment before. 

The collective will cover an introduction to: sourcing & organising your music library, beatmatching & mixing electronic music, DJ equipment and where to start with your own set-up, how to support one another on the beginner’s journey. 

By the end of the workshop, participants should feel more confident in terms of sharing music through DJing and a sense of community through taking part in the two-day session with the other local participants.
On the opening night of the festival, participants will have the chance to take part in an open deck session to present what they learned during the workshop. Those who choose to do so, will have everything they need for the performance facilitated.
