Alexis Sunder is a Cypriot singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose signature sound is defined by head-bobbing grooves, introspective lyrics and sunny melodies. His eponymous debut EP, released in early summer of 2022, is a delicious groove-driven exploration of bright and darker themes that blends soul, funk and rock to offer fresh impressions on retro vibes. His eye-catching sophomore performance at Fengaros Festival’s field stage (2022) underlined Sunder’s emergence as a notable feature in Cyprus’ budding songwriting music community.

Sunder is also a member of cypriot collective Island Seeds, with whom he’ll be releasing an album in the fall of 2023. In the past he has collaborated with the Eurotoire project and Brussels-based Bowtie Collective.
